Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

Location: RHS Garden Wisley

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the RHS, in a permanent role, as an Accounts Payable Assistant, in the beautiful grounds of RHS Garden Wisley.

Reporting into the Account Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for the resolution of invoice queries and reconciliation of statements to ensure supplier accounts are paid to the agreed terms. They will also be required to deputise for the Accounts Payable Supervisor during holidays and busy periods. They will need excellent customer service skills to liaise with both internal and external customers.

Skills & Experience Required

  • You should have several years experience working in an accounts payable role.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience of working with an automated document capture system.
  • Be able to evidence that you are a team player with excellent communication skills
  • Have numerous example of excellent customer service.
  • Be able to take the initiative, but at the same time seek guidance whenever needed
  • Have good attention to detail and a drive to improve processes to make them efficient and effective.
