A leading contractor in the busy new build, social housing sector in central Scotland is currently looking to add an Assistant Site Manager to their team. The Assistant Site Manager will assist the site team in delivering the new build housing project in the Glasgow area safely, on time and to the high standard of quality expected by the company and the client.

It is expected that the successful candidate will have experience of working on new build, social housing, preferably with the principal contractor.

The role of the Assistant Site Manager will include -

* Coordinate and motivate all trades on site to ensure all works are carried out and delivered as per instructions

* Report on progress of site works to the Site Manager

* Communicate all instructions clearly and efficiently

* Ensure all plant and machinery are used efficiently

* Maintain safety procedures at all times

* Quality Control

Qualifications/training required -

* Trade background or relevant further education qualification in construction



* First Aid certificate
