To handle all aspects of liability loss adjusting within a specialist liability adjusting team, in the UK and overseas, within Charles Taylor Adjusting.
To perform a loss adjusting function for all claims and develop existing skills to assist with other areas of loss adjusting as required. This will involve: - Receiving and acknowledging new instructions from clients;Undertaking site visits, meeting with Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, Claimants, Insureds and other interested parties predominantly in the UK and possibly Europe;Preparing reports and e-mail advice commenting in detail on all aspects of the claim including technical investigations by CT and experts, potential quantum, reviewing policies and contracts and planning and recommending future actions;Instructing and controlling third party experts and others as necessary;Communicating regularly with all interested parties, calculating and approving payments, and other communications
To assist, with the help of others, in the development of the Property & Casualty Team and other staff in your field of expertise
To assist, with the help of others, in the development and improvement of the professional services undertaken by Charles Taylor adjusting, which will involve working closely with the Directors of the Property & Casualty Team in all aspects of the role
To assist in and develop the effective marketing of Charles Taylor adjusting

Preferably, some post qualification experience, but this is not a pre-requisite for the role;
Preferably, at least five years’ experience as a liability adjuster with experience of Public Liability, Product Liability, and general PI claims for various classes of business. Some experience of product recall claims a desirable but not an essential requirement.
Good written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to work jointly with colleagues, often on large and complex technical cases
