DescriptionPOSTGRADUATE RESEARCH SERVICE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION DIVISION Clerical Assistant Ref: SC3955 £17,908 to £19,133 per annum Clerical Assistants provide high-quality administrative support within the Postgraduate Research Service, interacting with a wide range of academic and administrative colleagues and students on a day-to-day basis. Located within one of the Research Degrees Teams, the postholder will be responsible for basic administration and student support for postgraduate research degrees programmes, under the guidance of senior colleagues. You must have good communication skills, a minimum of five GCSE passes at Grades A-C including Mathematics and English (or equivalent qualification or experience), and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification. Attention to detail and proven IT and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work within a busy open office environment.This role is available from 20 September 2021 on a full-time, indefinite basis. The work conditions will involve a hybrid work model, consisting of considerable remote working alongside regular days for face to face working on the UEA campus.
