The Role:

You will join a close-knit, down to earth, and high-performing Corporate team in Manchester City Centre.

Acting for a national and international client base, you will gain exposure to a broad range of high-value Corporate transactions, including M&A, PE, ECM, and IPOs. The work they undertake is a step above firms in the city and will allow you to develop your technical ability to a high level.

As a senior member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing the junior lawyers, giving you a platform to strengthen your leadership skills and progress your career.

In addition, you will also be supported to develop a reputation in the market and encouraged to build a client base of your own. This level of client contact and autonomy is rare to find at a firm of this size.

You will play a pivotal role in the Corporate teams exciting growth; this, coupled with the one to one mentoring and support you will receive from the team's Legal 500 ranked Partner, will ensure you have a fast-tracked progression to partnership.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE
  • Ideally, you will have experience across M&A, PE, ECM, and IPOs, but I'm also keen to speak with individuals who specialise in one of these areas
  • Comfortable dealing with clients and building strong client relationships
  • You will be able to work in a collaborative, close-knit team environment
  • Have gained experience at a respected regional or city practice
