This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Curriculum Manager (Programme Area Leader) to manage a team of Professional Trainers and join a long established and developing construction training organisation, MKC Training, based at The Royal School of Military Engineering in Chatham, Kent, where military students are taught construction and engineering skills.
You will have strong communication skills, be able to develop and manage others, and be prepared to extend your own skills and knowledge.
You will demonstrate the aptitude and ability to develop and refine training systems and courses to bespoke requirements and to effectively manage equipment and resources.
Job Purpose. To support the Faculty Manager:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Assessment Qualification (A1 or equivalent – to be gained in post, as applicable)
Quality Assurance Qualification (V1 or equivalent – to be gained in post, as applicable)
Management of small teams – Line Management experience
Experience in mentoring new staff
Ability to motivate and encourage students
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Applications
Experience in course tutoring / delivering training, mentoring and coaching
Knowledge & experience of quality assurance & improvement
Ability to promote safeguarding and welfare of young people that you are responsible for, or come into contact with.
Experience in course and assessment development
Knowledge & experience of e-learning and e-assessment tools
An understanding of the Survey profession would be highly desirable but not essential
