What you'll do:

  • Lead a team of Program Managers to achieve business improvement targets, setting the strategy and ensuring accountability for tactical execution in a dynamic setting

  • Define program roadmaps aligned with business strategy, balance TPG strategic direction with overall Expedia mission, resolve resource bottlenecks and gaps, and balance cross-organizational dependencies

  • Oversee programs end-to-end, strategically managing resources, assessing, and adjusting work priorities and resource allocation and ensuring appropriate stakeholder representation and engagement end-to-end

  • Provide ongoing visibility into program status, engaging sponsors and impacted organizations via regular communications, meetings, and updates, clearly and concisely articulating the impact of their initiatives

  • Develop tight-knit relationships with applicable leadership teams and serve as a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization

  • Coach/ mentor team members on process improvement execution, program, and project management, with a strong focus on development and employee experience

  • Participate in hiring activities and decisions

  • Who you are:

  • Proven Program and Project Management experience maintaining a portfolio of complex initiatives, providing insight and recommendations, driving multiple timelines to completion, identifying, and mitigating risk, and achieving excellence in branding and delivery

  • A deep understanding of and wide-ranging experience in both using and coaching Lean Six Sigma tools and methods to solve problems and deliver savings

  • Strong leadership skills, with proven success in engaging and developing high-performing teams

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and influence and communicate across business units, balancing region- and market-specific needs

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership to understand business goals, identify and quantify opportunities, and prioritize and allocate resources for improvement project roadmaps

  • Demonstrated Change Management expertise, including the ability to partner with program sponsors to remove barriers and engage teams

  • Ability to define measurement system requirements and use/interpret data to evaluate and make business improvement recommendations (experience with SQL, pivot tables, or tableau a plus)

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from individual contributor to executive management, structuring information and utilizing PowerPoint and other resources to concisely communicate project status, ideas and actions

  • 10+ years of Program Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or related functions or in Principal role for consulting and/or analytics

  • 5+ years as a people leader, responsible for performance management and development of a team

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification, Certified Lean Sensei, or Certified Quality Engineer is required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business (preferably in a quantitative field or equivalent related professional experience); Advanced degree a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce, Travel Industry, Contact Centers a plus
