Amour Recruitment are working with a leading Training provider in Wales. We are recruiting for an Employability Trainer to join their South East Wales Team.Salary £20,000 - £23,000 plus a host of fantastic benefits! The purpose of the role is to deliver Employability Skills Training to all participants on provision, ensuring the most effective and up to date approaches are implemented to prepare unemployed participants for sustainable employment. The role
  • Accountable for delivering appropriate Employability Skills training which engages, motivates and upskills participants.
  • Responsible for designing new and innovative sessions to support the economic changes within Employment.
  • Accountable for adapting sessions to meet a variety of skills and needs of all participants.
  • Responsible for achieving a 90% participant attendance rate across all sessions.
  • Accountable for reminder communications to all participants attending your sessions.
  • Responsible for managing all fail to attend participants for all training sessions, working with the Employability Advisor on re-engaging participants.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the Employability Advisors key next steps and activities required for participants attending your sessions.
  • Accountable for maintaining digital records for all participants attending your sessions.
  • Attend regular standardisation sessions with your peers to share best practise and review current or new course content
  • Accountable for achieving participants feedback results at 90% good or above score on peer observations
  • Maintain knowledge and adherence to Work Based Learning Professional Standards, Education Workforce Code of Practice and company’s Code of Conduct
  • General

  • Relevant training experience and qualification(s)
  • Experience of working with unemployed adults

  • ESW Communication Level 2/ AON Level 2/ Digital Literacy Level 2
  • Occupational Experience / Knowledge and Technical competence in route ways delivery
  • Desirable skills ·Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards
  • PGCE / Relevant teacher/trainer qualification
  • CAVA Unit Classroom based delivery
  • City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 Award in Supporting Adults and Young People in Essential Skills
  • Level 5 practitioners Award
  • TAQA qualification or equivalent qualification
