Our client is a specialist Bespoke Joinery Contractor who has been trading successfully for 10 years. This company are a one stop shop for bespoke joinery with the resources to design, manufacture and install. Our client is predominantly involved with High-end packages spanning multiple sectors including commercial and residential. Our client is constantly growing their reputation within the Joinery industry with long-standing relationships with clients such as ISG, Overbury and 8Build.
About the Opportunity:
Due to continuous growth and successful tendering, Our Client is looking to expand their team by appointing an experienced Estimator to work directly under the Commercial Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years' experience working with either a Sub or Main Contractor with exposure to interior fit-out markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a flourishing company that will provide fantastic career progression. Your role as Estimator will include but not be limited to preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client and assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. When you're not rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck into this you will be performing risk and value management and cost control, as well as advising on procurement strategy. You will be hands-on in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks and Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
About the Benefits and Rewards:
Salary will be in the region of £35,000 - £55,000 + Their Company Package. Subject to skill and experience. The company offers a fantastic working environment and will provide the opportunity to progress your career through excellent guidance, support and training.
Our client is open to looking at Estimators who have experience within a sub-contractor or main contractor. You must have at least 3 years' experience with a construction company in a commercial role and have relevant qualifications
