Executive Chef - £70,000
Our Client is are seeking an Executive Chef looking to be responsible for the smooth running of one of their largest venues.
As an Executive Chef you will provide the kitchen with leadership to provide optimal production and high quality meal production covering events ranging from casual street food to high end fine dining seat down dinners.
As an Executive Chef overseeing all areas of the business which will involve being hands on and maintain the highest of standards, while having a major focus on logistics due to the volume and variations of the day to day business which turns over in excess of 5 million a year.
You will be required to produce exciting and up to date menus, in keeping with the style and format that has seen them become so successful. The menus will need to reflect the events they have in store and the restaurant which has become a regular repeat visitors.
You will have full autonomy over the Kitchen and expected to lead from the front.
You will be expected to oversee all kitchen management responsibilities, including HACCP, COSSH and Allergens for example.
Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
The ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload.
Calm and ability to upskill staff
Ability to organise and navigate large amounts of temporary staff
Strong leadership qualities. Must balance driving for results with the ability to coach and mentor the chefs and their skills, supporting development of capability levels and succession planning.
Resourceful, creative and proactive. Must be truly passionate about British cuisine which is critical within the running of the business.
Salary and Benefits or Remuneration
£60,000 to £70,000 per annum
Bonus scheme up to 15%
