As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for a FIELD SALES SPECIALIST to join our team . Position based: Italy/Germany/France/ UK/ Poland/ Netherlands. 

What you’ll learn & achieve:

UL's clients include a huge volume of small appliances manufacturers across Europe, we support these businesses by ensuring that they are complaint and certified safe for consumer usage. As a Field Sales Specialist you will be responsible for bringing in significant business from assigned managed SME accounts, increasing account share and account penetration. This position is also responsible for developing new relationships and bringing on new business across our growing small appliances portfolio. 

This role requires significant travel across your region and potentially across Europe.

-An end to end business development role, you will be expected to Identify and pursue prospects through various lead generated activities, including tradeshows, direct mailing, advertising and cold-calling of key industry players.

- Meeting with prospects to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and their needs.

- Supporting the development of sales presentations in order to grow the clientele for ULs services.

- Providing value propositions, handling objections, preparing quotes, and closing sales by getting prospects’ commitments.

- Retaining existing customers that are not managed by account management teams

- Focusing on customer satisfaction, account growth, expansion of services provided, and sustaining customer loyalty.

- Building relationships with various management levels, divisions, and functional departments of assigned managed accounts.

- Collecting and maintaining information, including business planning, from managed accounts so as to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and business opportunities and threats.

- Developing account plan and mobilizing internal resources to drive its implementation.

  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in a related discipline plus generally five years of directly related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.
  • General knowledge of company policies and sales processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects to stated objectives.
  • Has a general understanding of company's products and services.
  • Significant business travel and work outside of the office required.
