We are currently looking for an IT Business Analyst to join the IT Team at our Camberwell Support Office. Reporting to the IT Business Partner (Supply Chain) the successful incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of Business, and Information Technology iniatives that drive superoir value and increased capability within API to deliver improved Customer Experience and engagement with API.

The IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain (Inventory) is the proactive liaison between IT and the aligned Supply Chain portfolio; representing and enabling IT services and activities underpinning the portfolio’s operational needs and strategic leadership.

This role includes the responsibility for (but not limited to):

  • Investigates and documents systems and processes as directed by the IT Business Partner
  • Documents all requirements and the business solution such that stakeholders, the development team and test team understand them clearly to go about their tasks
  • Assesses the feasibility of recommended solutions from a business perspective
  • Ensures that the develop team(s) understands the problem and the solution
  • Manages changes to business requirements and undertakes impact analysis
  • Provide test support as required to ensure that the solution is accurate and free of bugs and issues
  • Works with end users to help them understand the changes
  • Contributes to the development and delivery of projects to meet business requirements as directed
  • Monitors and documents progress on active initiatives
  • Delivers business analyst services and outputs as required by the planned outcomes of the activity
  • Leads IT Project Delivery teams from Ideation to Completion
  • Utilises API IT PPM Methodology estimating and planning practices to ensure projects and programs are accurately scoped, defined, agreed, estimated, documented, and proposed
  • Proactive and professional management of project teams, positive project culture and the “One Team” methodology
  • Provides support to the IT team to ensure that appropriate project disciplines are followed to deliver on strategic and operational plans
  • Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an IT or business systems business analyst role
  • Functional knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution Modules and SCM
  • Experience with SAP Inventory Management Systems UDF and F&R
  • Sound knowledge of integration with Warehouse management systems (SAP/Manhattan)
  • Experience in working on Inventory Management and Logistics projects and systems
  • Experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical logistics objectives
  • High level of experience in measuring and analysing supply chain (inventory & logistics) performance
  • Successfully lead a small to medium project teams of internal or external third-party resources
  • Experience in the retail, wholesale, or consumer driven industry sectors
  • Demonstrated excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to influence and negotiate at all levels to achieve effective outcomes
  • Demonstrated strong customer focus and service delivery experience
  • Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-manage with a medium to high level of autonomy.
  • Ability to challenge organisational boundaries to ensure delivery of the services
  • Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualification in Technology/Logistics Disciplines or Business related discipline (Desirable)
  • Industry Qualifications/Certifications:
  • Business Analysis (Highly Advantageous)
  • Business Process Mapping (Highly Advantageous)
  • Project Management (Desirable)
  • LEAN Six Sigma (Desirable)
