These opportunities are 12-month Fixed Term Positions with the possibility of having contract extended. We are specifically looking for individuals whoa are local to Cambridgeshire.
As Contact Tracing Specialists, you will be part of a small team who will be the leads for contact tracing people with covid-19 across a range of settings in the community, both over the phone and face-to-face. We are looking to speak with candidates who are already local to Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area, who are prepared to travel between districts within the county at short notice when required.
•A degree in a relevant health related field / environmental health related field is preferable but not essential
The successful candidate will have:
•experience in a related field, such as health protection, sexual health, infectious diseases, infection control or environmental health.
•sound knowledge of the principles of health protection, including contact tracing and basic principles of outbreak control
•an understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality in relation to personal data
•the ability to take responsibility and accountability for your own work
•experience of working with vulnerable people
•effective verbal and written communication and ICT skills
•the ability to identify, manage and escalate risks
•good organisational skills
•the ability to problem solve whilst working in an unpredictable environment, often under pressure and to tight timescales
•a flexible approach to working hours as this role will require out of hours and weekend working
