We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Building Services team on-site within our London contracts.

The purpose of this role is to manage the MEP project finances and contractual obligations internally and externally, including all subcontract packages as a member of the project team within prescribed financial margins of the project to the satisfaction of internal and external clients and within the company’s financial targets.


  • Ensure that the obligations and responsibilities of the Project and other stakeholders are properly fulfilled
  • Handle the scope, notices, terms and conditions of the Contract
  • Deal with contract procedures, payments, variations together with contract entitlements
  • Manage dispute management procedures
  • Monitor, manage and report against the base contract sum or cost plan
  • Handle and use internal financial reporting and payment systems Manage the design within cost benchmarks Procurement Monitor and manage the strategy and philosophy for the project
  • Monitor and manage the procurement procedures for the package scope, quantification, tender method, negotiation and subcontract documentation
  • Monitor and manage Design Agreements Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Monitor and manage the risk management philosophy for the project
  • Manage and report the end life forecasting implemented through internal procedures, the monthly cost / value reconciliations, the variation's procedures and the risk and opportunity management procedures.
  • Manage and implement the insurances for the project
  • We’re looking for: 

  • Experience of running MEP projects as the Commercial Lead or No 2 position on large MEP projects
  • Previous experience at QS level running significant multiple subcontract packages £10M+Good working knowledge of contract/commercial law
  • Experience with Design and Build forms of contract
  • Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject
  • MRICS accredited (desirable)
