    Job Description

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • First point of contact for the COO and investment directors relating to finance matters for investment vehicles
  • Main contact for the fund administrators in the UK, Luxembourg and Ireland for all matters including company secretarial and fund reporting
  • Work closely with the investment team to ensure awareness and control of all finance and administration queries between portfolio companies and all internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • In conjunction with administrators ensure timely delivery of management accounts and financial reports, effective monitoring and control of cash, oversight of tax returns and management of all company secretarial matters
  • Liaison with all suppliers (tax, legal, audit etc)
  • Collaborate with investment team during post completion process including on-boarding of new investors, integration of new investment vehicles, tax structuring and cost budgeting
  • Develop financial reporting for investors including keeping abreast of changes to accounting standards
  • Be responsible for firm-wide compliance including ensuring the firm is working within current policies and procedures, interfacing with the FCA and completing returns as appropriate - working closely with the firms external compliance consultants
  • Also be responsible for risk management ensuring the framework is regularly reviewed, updated and agreed with senior management
  • The Successful Applicant

    The successful candidate must:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with significant post qualification experience
  • Be technically strong - must have private equity / limited partnership experience
  • Be able to understand and evaluate investment fund and company financial statements and accounts
  • Be adaptable and able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Have a strong academic record
  • Have proficiency in MS Office and have financial modelling skills
  • Be organised and tenacious. He/she will have already had experience of being an all rounder across many different issues and areas including, but not limited to, finance, business operations, risk and compliance
