Mears Housing Management is a successful business within Mears Group PLC having grown in 7 years to a nationally based management business with 12,000 homes and contracts with 50 Local Authorities and Central Government. As such, we are searching for similar like-minded people who can join Mears in our Mobilisation Task Team, to ensure the seamless transition of a large National Housing Management Contract. The Task Team will be vital in delivering our promises to customers and meeting our commercial targets.
As a transforming and ever-changing business, Mears are very proud of the services we provide and as such we are looking to recruit a Mobilisation Operating Procedures Manager who can review, analyse and assess the performance and quality of systems, solutions, processes required to provide the contract deliverables. You will be instrumental in the creation, review and establishment of the required process maps to ensure that the accommodation service delivery requirements are translated from the contractual documents into workable, effective processes.
Reporting to the Quality & Performance Manager, you will be responsible for
Analysis of business requirements contained with the entire accommodation contract suite to develop a set of clear and detailed operating procedure maps for all deliverables
Ensure the operating procedure maps are compliant with contract requirements contained with the contractual documents
Make use of all data provided to make decisions regarding the operating processes required
Work in partnership with the Information Systems/data mobilisation team and the Contract Quality Mobilisation Manager in particular to ensure that processes are consistent across the contract deliverables, the QMS and the systems developed
Provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of systems and structures established to ensure compliance with contract deliverables & operating procedure maps
Ensure the successful translation of contract deliverables in to process maps and procedures that are effectively implemented throughout the mobilisation period and beyond the start date
Continue to provide assessment and evaluation of processes once the service has started and modify as required.
Produce solution recommendations and any necessary service designs and implementation plans as required
Deliver regular reporting to Quality & Performance Manager and the Mobilisation Director
May be required to line manage other contract quality mobilisation staff as required
Support the Clients core values
Ensure full compliance with Mears code of conduct, contractual terms and group policies & procedures.
What are we looking for?
You will have demonstrable experience managing teams within a similar environment, aswell as delivering new business into operations and operational delivery of projects
Experience of housing, working on Government or Public Sector Contract would be advantageous
Policy and procedures development & implementation, plus process mapping will also be in your skillset.
We are looking for people with an extensive background of project management, business improvement and stakeholder management.
Promote and share best practise and lead on reviewing performance through the production of KPIs, quality checks and audits and feedback findings to the Operation Leads.
You will be a strong leader capable of building teams and motivating colleagues to achieve target
A competent negotiator both in terms of agreeing a solution and the relevant commercials
Commercially focussed you will build strong and effective relationships with customers, stakeholders and 3rd parties to ensure successful delivery of key strategic projects.
