You must meet the criteria below to apply • Have a Glasgow City Council Postcode • Not claiming benefits • Aged 16-24Job Description The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) is responsible for developing and coordinating engineering solutions from feasibility to detailed engineering designs for engineering for transmission networks (132kV and above) in civil/plant/P&C/OHL/Cables and other equipment. This will include providing the necessary basic and detailed engineering specifications and designs for projects, innovation, effective technical support, advice, site liaison and input throughout the lifecycle of the project. The team requires admin support with some of the Engineering Project Managers task as the Final as Built records process for the projects after energisation. Key Responsibilities Data Management/ Document Control Support the Engineering Project Managers on the As Built activity for a portfolio of 50+ projects. This task will include the production of the Valid for Construction list of documentation, review and check of the effective return of all the drawings and working together with the EPM to place the request to Drawings Office/External Design House to produce the final records. Support to drawings list collections from the substations as input for the records managements. Essential task as input for the design for several projects. General Admin Support Support the team in general administrative activities including meeting minutes, arranging meetings, electronic filing as requiredSupport to the team for SAP and contract management activities as requiredEssential skills, experience and qualifications Good inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with other individuals, departments and businesses.IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software
