<p><a name="_Hlk536701320"><strong>The Company</strong></a></p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity, for a hands-on Quality Engineer, to join a well-established, reputable, and respected family run business, who are committed to British craftmanship.</p><p>Operating for over 40 years, they continue to grow and increase revenues, through their UK sales and global distributors.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li>The Quality Engineer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all Quality documentation, procedures, testing and control of the manufacturing process.</li><li>You must be able to demonstrate that you are able to work and communicate effectively to all levels within the organisation, up to and including Directors. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer is responsible for improving and maintaining the Quality System to ensure Continuous improvement and Customer Satisfaction.</li></ul><p><strong>Commutable From: Birmingham, Leicester, Northampton, Banbury, Coventry, Hinckley, Leamington Spa</strong></p><p><strong>Salary and Hours</strong></p><ul><li>£35,000 - £40,000, negotiable, dependant on experience</li><li>7:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week</li></ul><p><strong>Person Specification</strong></p><p>The Quality Engineer will have a minimum 10 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment, with a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer</p><ul><li>Excellent Knowledge of 5 core tools, APQP, SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA. Green belt six sigma certified preferred</li><li>Engineering Qualifications with Audit experience</li><li>Experience of a high volume, fast paced environment</li><li>Ability to lead and make decisions, to support and develop a team to achieve results, to persuade and influence at all levels, to analyse and report data effectively and to understand and deliver strategies</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent computer skills.</li><li>Excellent pla ing and organisation skills, able to adapt and respond to change, with the ability to achieve objectives and exceed expectations</li><li>Applicants must have a full UK driving licence</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Problem solving, Product Audits and Process Audits</li><li>Reviewing operating procedures for effectiveness</li><li>Calibration</li><li>Training and assessment of operators</li><li>Reporting on Quality Indices and dealing with supplier issues</li><li>Produce presentations when required</li><li>Introduce and maintain Quality Documentation</li></ul>
