A message from the individual you will support

I am a young lady looking for a team of female support workers to support me to live in my new home.

This is a new and exciting time for me, and I need you to be enthusiastic, with a positive outlook on life and have the ability to use proactive strategies effectively to support me to stay safe, build my independence and learn new skills.

I have some mobility restrictions and thus require support using a hoist and wheelchair to move around.

I will require support in a number of different areas including meal preparation, personal care, medication administration as well as staff that can help me rekindle my daily living skills and encourage me to develop a productive daily routine and expose me to various activities.

I enjoy making things with craft materials such as cards and candles and love Disney films.

I require someone who is intrinsically caring, patient and who will communicate with me in a clear and calm way.

I would also benefit from someone who is experienced in working with a Positive Behaviour Support Model.

I need you to be outgoing and easy to talk to, understanding and non-judgemental so you can support me to manage my needs, develop good routines and build positive, trusting relationships.
