We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (or Student Veterinary Nurse would also be considered) to join our team at Medivet St Ives.
The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a team of nursing staff including Head Veterinary Nurse, Student Veterinary Nurses, Patient Care Assistants and Client Care Assistants.
The position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. Previous clinical coaching experience would be desirable.
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays, however part time and flexible working requirements will be considered.

Medivet St Ives is a busy first opinion small animal practice, which offers a wide range of complex diagnostic equipment and treatment options.
Our practice is situated in the heart of the historic market town, located close to stunning rural attractions and the University town of Cambridge. Our multi vet practice is led by our experienced and knowledgeable Branch Partner who also holds a certificate in surgery. The practice has extensive facilities and equipment including three consult rooms, ultrasound, video endoscopy, new laparoscope, orthopaedic surgical equipment and digital x-ray.
