Purpose of the role:
To support SHEQ based decisions and actions of the senior management team both within and outside of product company Clevedon through the conversion of management systemdata from an extensive range of sources into meaningful businessinformation.
To continually improve management systems at PC Clevedon by identifying issues and working proactively within local and global teams to improve processes. To ensure that processes align with Atlas Copco global requirements, International standards and customer requirements.
To deliver the effective and efficient end to end coordination of internal and external audit non-conformance. Acting as the pivotal point of coordination and facilitation between SHEQ or external originator and all other interested parties.
To influence business decisions by bringing a data and fact-based approach to the continual improvement of our SHEQ management systems throughout product company Clevedon.
You will be involved in:
To drive the effective implementation and improvement of the SHEQ Document Management System at product company Clevedon in line with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards, and customer requirements.
Maintain the site Internal SHEQ Audit programme in line with business risks and management systems requirements.
Conduct Business Management System audits in line with the integrated audit plan ensuring follow up and support of interested parties to resolve any identified corrective actions.
Maintain the execution of the site SHEQ Document management system contributing to the maintenance, upgrade, and development of quality control procedures in line with business, ISO and customer requirements
Utilisation, implementation & deployment of necessary Quality tool and techniques to drive improvements to the effectiveness of the SHEQ Management System
Develop and deliver SHE & Quality training / awareness sessions to relevant employees & management.
Monitor and report on compliance status of our business to the QMS procedures and International standards.
Project manage SHEQ related business improvement projects
Influencing a positive quality and safety culture within the product company
Performing historical analysis to identify recurrence of SHEQ related nonconformity or development of adverse trends
Site Administrator/Coordinator/Trainer for SHEQ systems including Permit and H&S Incident Reporting
Working with Customer support team with analysis, verification and reporting of Warranty issues against product company Clevedon driving systemic corrective actions for common themes.
Performing Induction Training of both SHE and Quality to all New Starters in such a way that they are enthusiastic about the business and are therefore motivated to perform at the highest level
To be considered for this role you will have:
Business or technically based degree is preferable.
Lead auditor for ISO9001:2015 (or experience and prepared to work towards IRCA Lead Audit level)
At least one-year recent experience in a Quality position within an ISO 9001, AS9100 or TS16949 certified organisation.
Familiar with the practical application of OHSAS 18001(or ISO 45001), ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards
Demonstrable problem-solving skills applying appropriate tools and techniques to a situation. Knowledge of 8D, Ishikawa & 5 Why as a minimum.
Experience of the Semiconductor or electronics industry is preferred but not essential
Assertive, diplomatic with a good appreciation of business and commercial issues.
Ability to remain calm and resilient in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
Excellent PC skills.
Good level of MS Excel and MS Access is preferred
Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SharePoint
Awareness of Visio & Minitab would be an advantage
