Randstad Education currently works alongside an SEN school in Knowsley. We seek to recruit passionate Learning Support Assistants to work alongside children and young people with a multitude of Special Needs. We can offer this role to work initially on a contract basis, however there is scope for this position to move to permanent for the right candidate.


The role

Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children across all Key Stages, accompanied by a Teacher and other Support Assistants. You will be working with children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs; MLD, PMLD, SLD, Autism, ADHD, Down's Syndrome and Physical Disabilities.

The person

The successful candidate must have experience with some of the following:

  • Experience working with people with SEN/Disabilities
  • Confidence supporting children and young people with different types of Special Educational Needs
  • Previous experience as a Care/Support Worker would be beneficial but not essential
