Senior Administration and Customer Service Coordinator, Hull (Melton, near North Ferriby HU14 3HJ), salary circa £22,000 plus benefits, 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking to appoint a new Senior Administration and Customer Service Coordinator to ensure Heron Foods customers receive a first class offering of products, services and customer experience. This is a varied role where we require an experienced Senior Administration and Customer Service professional who has a pro-active approach and can provide support to various areas of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an ever-evolving and growing business, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing and taking ownership of customer queries, complaints and compliments by calls, emails, letters or via social media. 
  • Maintaining an accurate log of all customer interactions and feeding back to relevant departments and managers and highlighting any trends or problem areas.
  • Compiling compliments and coordinating information for positive feedback to the Head of Retail Operations to select the ‘Top 6’ and inclusion on our newsletter.
  • Managing and administration of incident reporting for all stores and following-up on actions.
  • Attending quarterly Regional Managers’ operations meetings and taking minutes.
  • Training for GDPR to be given, and to then accurately input data of customer details for the customer service database in accordance with GDPR guidelines
  • Liaising with HR regarding the removal of data in accordance with GDPR guidelines and formally logging for audit trails.
  • Covering Reception during lunchtimes/holidays to including receiving visitors, booking meeting rooms, organising lunches etc.
  • Successful Senior Administration and Customer Service Coordinator applicants will have previous experience within a similar role, liaising with external customers and taking ownership and resolving issues. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be used to managing confidential data. You will also have the confidence to work across all levels of the business.
