<p><strong>Job Ref: LLHC-P-MHSD</strong></p><p><strong>Position: Manager</strong></p><p><strong>Category: Supported Housing Service</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Downpatrick</strong></p><p><strong>Type: 40 hours per week (including oncall on a rota basis at the weekends)</strong></p><p><strong>Salary: £29,577</strong></p><p><strong style="color: red"> </strong></p><p><strong style="color: rgb(230, 0, 0); background-color: white">* Manager Position Available*</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong style="color: black; background-color: white"><u>*Immediate Interviews Available*</u></strong></p><p> </p><p>Lucas Love Healthcare are working with a Supported Housing Service in Downpatick, to assist them in recruiting a manager for their learning disability and autism care site.</p><p> </p><p><strong>ROLE PURPOSE</strong>: As a registered manager of the supported housing service, you will be responsible for the operational day-to day management of the service ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Working in partnership with colleagues in the senior management team, you will ensure the provision of high quality service enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with the available resources.</p><p><span style="color: red"> </span></p><p><strong>MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:</strong></p><p>To ensure the delivery of high quality person-centred care services on a day-to-day basis, that promote independence, choice and dignity to empower service users to live as independently as possible.</p><p>To be responsible for overseeing the welfare and development of all service users and ensuring that individual programmes and plans are prepared and implemented for each service user.</p><p>To ensure that a full programme of occupational, recreational and social care activities are available to each service user to meet individual needs.</p><p>To establish effective systems for liaising with relevant local authorities, health, i.e. GP’s, Psychologist, Behaviour Team, etc as appropriate.</p><p>To co-operate fully with internal and external monitoring inspections and visits.</p><p>To participate in the recruitment of staff and ensure that supervisions and appraisals are carried out in accordance with policy and ensuring training development needs are identified.</p><p>To prepare and agree a detailed annual budget, and manager and monitor resources and expenditure as agreed, including quarterly reviews.</p><p>To promote and ensure a sound and safe working environment by undertakings with regards to health and safety.</p><p>To contribute to policy and practice development and to disseminate learning from practice to enhance policy and training development.</p><p>To ensure adherence to organisational policy by the production of guidelines in designated policy areas (e.g. Health and Safety, Protection of Vulnerable Adults, Complaints).</p><p>To propose and agree operational targets.</p><p><span style="color: red"> </span></p><p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p><p><span style="color: red"> </span></p><p>·        2 years’ experience in a management/team leader/deputy/senior position within a social care setting.</p><p>·        Experience of working with adults who have a learning disability.</p><p>·        Experience of working within a Supported Housing Environment.</p><p>·        Full Clean Driving Licence with assess to a car.</p><p>·        Excellent IT and report writing skills.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>·        QCF (NVQ) Level 5 in Care (Adults)</p><p><span style="color: red"> </span></p><p>If this is something that you, or someone you know are interested in please contact us on 028 9066 8035, or additionally, email a copy of your CV to: recruitment@lucaslovehealthcare.com</p>
