We have an opportunity for a General Classroom Teaching Assistant to join a growing Secondary School in the East Bedfordshire area seeking Level 1 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join them for the new Academic Year, from September.
You will be involved with supporting generally in the classroom, and providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN pupils and mainstream pupils who require additional support in their learning process.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for Graduates to get into teaching, or for a new challenge for an experience Teaching Assistant looking to support Year 7 through to Year 11, before they progress into Secondary level. This would initially be a temporary role, with the opportunity to go permanent based on performance.

This is a 12 to 18 school with a roll approaching 1,000 students, including Sixth Form. The school is highly accessible for commute from areas such as Cambridge, Bedford, Stevenage, Milton Keynes and Peterborough, all within 45 minutes travel time.
The school is ready for an expected expansion in numbers due to these demographic changes, and their new science centre was opened in September 2017 and has provided the additional 13 classrooms needed.
While Ofsted is only on measure of a school, in our last inspection they were judged a good school.
They are embarking on an ambitious programme to raise standards, transform their curriculum and help our students realise what they are truly capable of achieving and would like a new English Graduate and Tutor to be a part of this growth.
