    The Role

    The Technical Talent Acquisition Lead at Genius Sports will manage a growing team of 5 Recruiters while balancing full cycle recruitment for senior/critical roles across the region. The Talent Acquisition Lead is a charismatic, results-driven person who is comfortable analysing data, building strategies and executing on hiring plans. This person is a strong stakeholder manager who will make data driven recommendations to business leaders and track and report results on a regular basis.

    Responsibilities

  • Lead a high performing team of professionals building their careers in tech recruiting. As a strong coach, you're an effective listener and facilitator using your experience and situational awareness to help your team continue their development path.
  • Partner closely with Stakeholers, Executive Team, Sales, Finance, and divisional Delivery Directors to ensure strong alignment between business needs and recruitment’s ability to drive those forward for your region.
  • Support and Assist Initiatives, ideas and projects of the Global Group Talent Manager and Head of Talent in order to comply with the Yearly TA team strategic plan.
  • Understand metrics, including pipeline data, hiring forecasts, and recruiting capacity/output.
  • Drive recruitment initiatives that will allow the team to hit the quarterly stablished targets for the region.
  • Remain hands-on with recruitment and take responsibility of high level or critical roles when needed.
  • Dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with a passion to advocate for more inclusive approaches to hiring.
  • Champion for excellent candidate experience and act as an extension of Genius Sports brand; ensuring everyone who engages with Genius talent brand receives unmatched care and attention.
  • Drive regular process improvements to all things talent acquisition, optimizing our approach to be the best it can be.
  • Provide leadership in search strategy development, candidate sourcing, experience and screening, and translating business strategy into talent and recruitment strategy
  • Requirements

  • A deep understanding of sourcing technology, market trends, and talent strategy.
  • Experience leading talent acquisition teams with at least 2 direct reports, preferable in a tech company.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with internal stakeholders and external candidates. You have a passion for finding great talent to support the organization’s continued evolution
  • Experience coaching each direct report.
  • You’re driven by the numbers. You keep close tabs on time to fill, quality of hire, sourcing stats, cost per hire, offer acceptance rates, and retention data- always striving to improve your recruiting stats.
  • Calling you organized is an understatement. You turn chaos into a streamlined process and problem-solve at scale, ensuring our team never encounters the same problem twice.
  • You work smart, strategically, and protect your time. Juggling requisitions, special projects, sourcing, outreach, interviews - you keep all trains moving with ease.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
