We are currently looking for a Technology & Change Risk Manager to join our team based in our London Office. The main purpose of the role is a first line of defence reporting into the Head of Business Management. The role will provide the RLAM Technology & Change Senior Leadership team and the wider function, with support and assurance over the risk and control environment.
Active engagement in implementing and embedding the Risk Management Framework, Standards and Procedures
Write discussion, update and controls papers on behalf of Technology and Change for varying RLAM Risk working groups and committees
Provide subject matter expertise, support and guidance to the change portfolio function, promoting best practice and a view on business change impacts
Manage, drive and embed a risk plan on behalf of the CTO leadership team
Support and coordinate AAF activity, acting as a central point between External Auditors and Control Owners
Monitor timely completion of controls, actions, issues from a variety of internal and external parties
Complete control testing in line with agreed 1st line control testing plan, reporting on issues identified and providing recommendations for improvements
Production of management information, including action and procedure monitoring to evidence control maturity across the functions
Oversight of portfolio risks, risk events and risk metric reporting
Prepare an assurance plan to ensure all risk requirements are outlined and completed in line with the company risk requirements
Provide support to the change portfolio to ensure all risks are clear and consistent in their tracking and escalating
Timely, accurate and well written communications
Risk oversight of both Intra-Group Technology and 3rd party vendor relationships
A strong background working within Technology & Change Risk Managerial role previously, specifically within Asset Management
Working knowledge of risk frameworks previously
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately
Good analytical skills including analysing trends
Ability to generate recommendations to senior stakeholders
Experience of generating risk papers for the board previously
Able to provide constructive challenge
Able to work effectively both as part of a team or individually, both performing and reviewing work
Adaptive to change/positive attitude towards change
Innovative approach to problem solving
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Experience working on Archer Risk framework previously
CISA, CRISC or CISSP certified.
Strong background within Asset Management
