  • Maintaining and continuously improving standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies
  • Planning, co-ordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of raw materials and outbound finished goods utilising M3.
  • Using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
  • Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
  • Co-ordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary.
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Briefing FLM's on a daily basis and communicating effectively.

  • Good experience in a similar role mandatory across logistics and supply chain
  • Intermediate knowledge of ERP systems is essential
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is desired
  • Experience in logistics and supply chain is required
  • Working with Continuous Improvement is considered a plus
  • Highly motivated with a "can-do" attitude
  • Be proactive and have the desire to improve processes and procedures.
  • Flexible and adaptable in approach to work responsibilities
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills
