About us:

Kenwood Travel is a Multi-Award Winning tour operator with an expanding global portfolio in the holiday market. An opportunity has arisen to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Assistant In our office based in Moorgate, London. Currently this role will involve Part Remote working and up to two days from office but from January 22, a decision will be taken to work full time from office or carry on as a hybrid arrangement.

About the Role:

As an important part of our accounts team, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices as well as payment and statement reconciliations.

You will need to have experience from working in an accounts payable environment, comfortable working independently but also happy to jump in and support your team colleagues when needed.

You will need to have strong Excel, Outlook and good communication skills. You must also have previous experience of working in an Accounts payable department, preferably in the Travel industry.

Your responsibilities:

· Accurately processing invoices and payments within payment deadline.

· Managing the reconciliation of supplier statements to the IVector Software (Accounts Software) and follow with any refunds which need to be processed.

· To effectively deal with and resolve promptly any queries that arise.

· Checking and replying to accounts emails and supplier queries in a timely manner.

· Teamwork - assisting colleagues within the wider accounts payable, with the accounts team in credit card and bank reconciliations.

· Work under pressure on your own initiative, prioritising workloads.

· You need to be adaptable and flexible with your approach to work, as work volumes can dictate what you will be working on from day to day.

· Willing to follow instructions - happy to bring new ideas / solutions to the table that will work towards efficiencies within the team and our processes.

Your expertise:

· Experience working within an accounts payable environment (Travel Industry is preferable).

· Good communication skills - both verbal and written, strong MS office skills including Excel, excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

· Ability to work on multiple tasks and able to follow deadlines.

· Comfortable working independently and or as part of a team.
