The Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required to provide support to the Senior QS in managing all Revenue works within the remit of Cheshire East Highways Term Maintenance Contract, with particular focus on Task Order management, Early Warning and Compensation Event administration, Application and Account support to Finance and Subcontract Accounts. This role will involve close cooperation and collaboration with both the Revenue team focusing on Contract communications administration and support to the Senior Quantity Surveyor. A key element of this role will be subcontract management and ensuring compliance to subcontracting processes, evaluating applications and recommending certificates for payment.

- Specific Subcontract accounts

- To provide full support to the Senior QS and wider Commercial team, including

- Compliance with all Commercial processes

- Supporting change management and ensuring that all formal EWs and CEs appropriately managed


About You


- Intermediate experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Organised and able to meet deadlines

- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics (beneficial)

- Degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification desirable, but not essential although suitable accumulated experience in Commercial/Quantity Surveying role would be preferable

- Mid Degree course (QS related) considered
