We are looking for an experienced software engineer who can take research code and concepts usually prototyped in Matlab or Python and develop efficient production code that will be used in new and existing products and services. You will be responsible for helping to define the architecture, implement, code control and structured testing of the code base.


Responsibilities

  • Be involved in all phases of the product development lifecycle (initial requirements, technical specifications, design, implementation, testing and maintenance)
  • Write safe, efficient C++ code
  • Work on various aspects of Createc products and projects.


Essential Skills

  • A deep passion for technology and software development
  • Proficiency within C++ 11/14
  • Familiarity with Standard Template Library, Object Oriented Programming principles and Design Patterns
  • Ability to work with Linux & Unix
  • Strong algorithmic skills
  • Source Control (git, bitbucket)
  • At least 3 years of C++ Software Developing experience.


Desirable Skills / Characteristics

  • Experience in script development (preferably Python)
  • Experience with writing applications that run on embedded systems.
  • Experience in newer versions of C++ (17 or 20)
  • Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) experience.


Dead line for applications is Monday 30th May. Initial interviews will be help on 6th June with technical assessments being held for successful applicants on Thursday 9th June.
