The team

Our Commercial Banking team look after our customers at all stages of their banking journey across a range of banking products using their expertise and human touch to ensure we truly support and understand our customers.

The role

As Commercial Banking Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Relationship Managers, working collaboratively with other CBO’s to grow our customers, deliver great service and monitor risk. Specifically you will:

  • Work with Relationship Managers to agree a portfolio engagement strategy.
  • Assist customers with switching their banking to Unity.
  • Identity and provide appropriate products and services to customers.
  • Build rapport with customers to act as a trusted advisor.
  • Obtaining financial information and conduct renewals for lending and other product risk limits.
  • Undertake product and pricing reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Lending Administration Team to instruct valuations and fulfil pre and post lending activity on behalf of the RMs.
  • Work as part of a team with other CBO’s to assist with the fulfilment of daily centralised administrative tasks.
  • Support ad-hoc Regional Director activity.
  • Identity and suggest improvements to processes and procedures.

The person

We are keen to hear from individuals from with commercial lending experience working within financial services who have the following knowledge and experience:

The role will be based at our Birmingham Brindleyplace head office, with a balance between office and home-working subject to agreement and individual circumstances. Please note that currently we are working remotely and interviews will take place remotely
