Finance Manager (permanent contract)

The Company

RED Commerce is a leading global staffing organisation focused on the SAP eco-system, helping SAP end user clients and partners engage the best permanent and contract SAP and complementary technology professionals.

The Position

Working in a dynamic, international Finance department, the Finance Manager will work closely with the wider team to prepare and report accurate and timely management accounts, whilst ensuring internal controls are upheld.

Key duties will include:

• Assist the Group Financial Controller to prepare of the Group’s consolidated monthly management accounts and commentary

• Ensuring clean balance sheet accounts are maintained

• Managing, coaching and mentoring a team of three finance professionals

• Managing staff expenses and company credit cards processes

• Championing and suggesting process improvement and controls

• Analysing financial data for ad-hoc reporting

• Preparing audit readiness and liaising with external auditors

• Ad hoc duties including supporting the Financial Controller on additional projects

The Person

The preferred candidate will be a fully qualified professional accountant with 3 years PQE with experience working in a busy finance team. Key characteristics will include:

• Self-motivated with good organisational and time management skills
• Advanced excel skills
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external, including Managing Directors of Red’s international business units and the Red Board of Directors
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting demands
