SRM are partnering exclusively with a FTSE main market listed group who have undergone significant growth through a number of international acquisitions over the last 12 months to identify a talented Group Financial Reporting Manager in a newly created role.


This growth has also been underpinned through increased investment in their head office Plc finance team to support the sustained growth and international diversification of the business. It will be working under a recently appointed Group Financial Controller.


This role will incorporate a flexible working pattern, to include 2 days per week at their Sussex based trading business with the remainder from home / Central London


The role is heading up the group team reporting directly to the Group FC and managing two direct reports.


Main responsibilities:


  • Group management reporting – consolidations for their UK and international business units
  • Group statutory reporting for half-year and year-end under IFRS
  • Preparing multi-currency consolidation
  • Owning and overseeing audit process
  • Overseeing preparation and filing of UK subsidiary statutory accounts under FRS 101
  • Co-ordinating tax process for the group
  • Responsible for maintaining, reviewing, and improving internal processes and controls
  • Overseeing treasury management and reporting to banks for covenant compliance
  • Looking after share-based payments under IFRS 2
  • Provide technical accounting support for the group
  • Support ad-hoc project work as required 


This role would be an ideal first move from a Big 4 or larger firm at Manager level into a Plc environment, though candidates already operating in a financial reporting role in C&I will actively be considered.


Additionally you'll be / have:

  • technically strong with exposure to multi-currency consolidations, IFRS 2, acquisition accounting
  • Prior knowledge on best practice processes and controls
