Finatal are currently working with a leading global online gaming business who are looking to add an Investment Analyst to their team! Having grown at an exceptional rate due to their acquisition strategy, they have over $1.5bn of capital ready to deploy to continue their impressive growth streak.
The incoming Investment Analyst will assist the team across investments, strategy development and M&A activity through the following:
- Perform market research and competitive analysis
- Build and create financial models
- Conduct due diligence and analysis of targets’ operating and financial results
- Assist in the development of the investment strategy and approach
- Prepare investment and acquisition memorandums
- Work alongside additional departments including Finance, Legal and Corporate Development
- Ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies
- Ad hoc tasks
Requirements
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (proficiency in SQL is a plus)
- Strong financial modelling experience, analytical and research abilities
- Relevant sector experience (technology and gaming preferable)
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 1-3 years’ experience within a Transaction Services team, with desirable sector experience. Other backgrounds will be considered (Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting and M&A).
