The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been mandated by a privately owned business in the healthcare sector to help them recruit a SOX Programme Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager-level qualified accountant to take ownership of the SOX compliance programme for a top tier client. This role is based in Chessington. Our client is operating a hybrid working model and staff are currently in the office 2 days a week.

Key responsibilities will be to ensure SOX compliance for the group. Our client has recently been taken over by another business and you will be tasked with strengthening the financial controls framework. You will also have line management responsibilities for 1 member of staff who will be responsible for SOX testing. Alongside line management, your day-to-day role will include working closely with process owners and stakeholders across the business to identify gaps and weaknesses in controls and use your expertise to remediate them. You will also be responsible for ensuring the documentation of key controls. You will be interacting daily with key stakeholders across the business to promote a strong controls environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years post qualification experience (ACA, ACCA) and will likely have worked within a Big 4/Top 10 accounting firm as an auditor. Any line management experience will be highly regarded, but this will be a great opportunity to manage if you have not done so before. You must have excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
