Job Overview:

Covance is seeking candidates for a Clinical Sourcing Specialist. The Clinical Sourcing Specialist can be remotely located anywhere within United Kingdom or Slovakia.

  • Act as liaison between project management and Global Vendor Management to ensure contracts and POs are created and updated as appropriate
  • Analyze vendor payment detail and contract requests to ensure appropriate sourcing and category management
  • Handle competitive sourcing events with only minimal supervision
  • Independently negotiate business and legal terms in model agreements
  • Independently negotiate vendor master agreements
  • Independently review client agreements to identify appropriate flowdown terms for vendor agreements
  • Enter various types of vendor contract, PO and receipt data into Covance systems
  • Perform PO, Task Order and Change Order reconciliations
  • Maintain various tracking and reconciliation tools and systems
  • Resolve routine vendor issues related to contracts or POs

    • Education/Qualifications:

  • law degree 

    • Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years of sourcing, negotiations and contract creation experience
  • Must be an effective negotiator, have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in a clinical trials environment is preferred
