We are a registered care and support charity that offers services to just over 6000 people within the Midlands. These services include supporting people within registered care, domiciliary care, people with learning difficulties, those with mental health issues, young people at risk, older people, BME groups, people at risk of being homeless and those fleeing domestic abuse. Trident has over 50 years of delivering homes, services and innovation in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. It employs more than 800 staff, works with over 150 volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships for many more

About the Role

We are looking for candidates for a number of care roles to assist a diverse customer group to remain in the community, as well been supported and maintained safely in their own homes and thereby enhance the quality of life.

Key responsibilities:

* Monitor customers health and wellbeing, record and report any changes to relevant internal and external bodies

* Understand and act upon any safeguarding concerns

* Support customers with life skills (including financial budgeting, diet, nutrition and exercise) and empower them to make a positive contribution to society

* Effectively working in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers

The role is permanent opportunity which will involve working nights on a rota basis working 30 hours per week over a 7 day period which will include early shifts, late shifts, and twilights

About You

We are looking for applicants who are reliable, honest, caring, dedicated, and flexible and work on a rota basis to include bank holidays, weekends and sleep INS. In addition we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated staff to support our service users in all areas of their everyday living skills and daily activities – all in a person centred way.

* Requirement candidates can speak Cantonese and/or Hakka*

* Flexible, Energetic

* Strong interpersonal Skills

* Experience of working with in a busy care environment

* An understanding of Domiciliary Care which will embrace all aspects of care including respectful personal care and support with aspects of daily living

* Professional accountable and have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, families, as well health care professional across Trident Reach

* Excellent numerical and literacy skills
