Our client is a rapidly expanding business and due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager / Company Accountant to oversee the daily operations of the accounts functions and, when required, step in to complete any necessary transactions personally.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a small team of accounts staff

* To oversee the Sales and Purchase Ledgers

* To produce the PL with variance analyses

* To complete the balance sheet reconciliation

* To oversee and complete the bank reconciliation

* To prepare the journals for accrual and pre-payment

* To prepare the journals for weekly and monthly payrolls

* To complete the statement reconciliations for invoice finance

* To oversee payroll and, when it is occasionally required, to directly input into/process payroll

* To create the annual budgets and monitor against the actual PL

* Preparation of other reports as requested by the Directors

This is a highly varied hands-on role that will suit someone who oversees accounts, but is happy to step in and carry out transactional activities as and when required and any experience of Sage 200 would be beneficial. Interviews are ongoing so apply now
