Job advertIn order to apply for this position you must have recently completed a Teesside University First degree or higher qualification within the last 2 years and have a full/clean driving licence. This is an excellent opportunity to use the skills and experienced gained in your degree to join our team as a Graduate Intern to provide assistance and support to the recruitment, marketing and communications functions. You will have direct interventions with stakeholders; represent the University as an ambassador for Higher Education and assist in the organisation and delivery of Parent’s evenings, Option choices, Higher Education Fairs and other related recruitment events. You must be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm about the progression to Higher Education to others and have knowledge of the structure of Higher Education and the recruitment and admissions processes. You will also have the ability to communicate at all levels with clients from varying ages, cultures and backgrounds and have the ability to work flexibly as part of a team as the role will include some evening and weekend work. The positions we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures. You will be expected to complete the DBS application online and pay for this up front, the University will then reimburse you when you have started.
