  • The Role:

  • The role of the KAM is to sell a portfolio of Medical equipment & Supplies/Consumables (Defibrillators, Dermatoscopes, Doppler, ECG, Furniture, Lighting, Medical Fridges, Nebulisers, Ophthalmoscope & Otoscopes - Huge product portfolio).
  • This role will focus on selling into medical secondary settings.
  • Very much seen as a solution based sale where you will look to engage with all levels of people within hospitals (clinical, procurement & EMBE).
  • The area is a well nurtured with strong relationships already established and framework agreements already in place.
  • The role is seen as 40% account management + 60% new business (this is new product lines added into existing accounts).
  • Grow product portfolio in customer segments.
  • To identify and build relationships with the key decision makers.
  • Area covers from Derby up to the borders (Manchester, Liverpool, York, Sheffield, Preston, Leeds, Bradford, Oldham, Bolton, Sunderland, Newcastle, Middleborough) – Ideally you will be based around Manchester but not essential if you are happy to travel and have the relevant background and experience.
  • £40k-£42.5k basic salary (DOE), Uncapped Commission, Company Car, Mobile, Laptop, 25 days holiday + bank holiday, Pension.
  • The Ideal Person:

  • Looking for candidates with experience of selling Medical Equipment or Supplies into Secondary care settings.
  • Needs someone that has experience of selling/dealing with procurement and also EBME departments.
  • Someone that understands how to grown accounts. Spot missed opportunities/ID new revenue streams.
  • Proven track record of KAM and also increasing revenue year on year.
  • Consultative led sales approach that is able to deal with a multi-tiered sales process.
