As a successful and developing group of practices, and part of DHU Healthcare CIC, we are inviting applications from individuals who have primary care Practice Manager experience to oversee our three city centre practices in Leicester. The three practices currently cover a patient population of 14000 patients.
This exciting role is different from that of the traditional Practice Manager role, as there is a small team of specialist offsite staff who will complete the payroll, finance and budgets, HR, Infection Prevention and Health and Safety tasks, so that you are able to solely concentrate on running the practice and improving the patient experience, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

The candidate will coordinate all aspects of the practice’s functionality including motivating and managing staff, direct enhanced services, claims and QoF. Excellent knowledge of patient services, premises, and an understanding of health & safety management and infection prevention control is essential to be successful in this role.
Through innovative ways of working with the assistant practice manager’s support, the successful applicant will be leading the team in promoting collaborative working, excellent service delivery, learning and development.
Our team are working towards a good CQC rating and improving our high QOF achievement. As such, the applicant should have an outstanding understanding of the CQC requirements with experience of preparing and leading a team through an inspection. Having an in-depth understanding of the QOF is also anticipated.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of successful primary care practice management, relevant SystmOne experience, in addition to good analytical and reporting experience, with the ability to articulate clearly how they will add value to the existing business.
