We have an exclusive partnership with our client Tricoya UK and they are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join their organisation on a permanent staff basis. Tricoya UK Ltd is a joint venture between Tricoya Technologies Ltd, Medite Europe DAC and BP Chemicals. Tricoya® Wood Elements are produced using Accsys Group’s proprietary technology for the acetylation of wood chips, and particles for use in the fabrication of panel products such as medium density fibreboard and particle-board. These products demonstrate enhanced durability and dimensional stability which allow them to be used in a variety of applications that were once limited to tropical hardwood or man-made products.

The primary focus of the business is the production and licensing of Accoya® solid wood and Tricoya® wood elements. Accoya® manufacturing facility is in Arnhem, the Netherlands, Accsys is also expanding in other locations. The next plant will be at the Saltend site in Hull, UK, where the company is building and will soon be operating the world’s first Tricoya® production plant.

Reports to: Site Manager with a dotted line to Group Supply Chain Manager

Role Summary:

Responsible for effectively leading and coordinating the Supply Chain process ensuring OTIF targets are met, cost savings are made and stock is managed in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

This list is non exhaustive but covers:

* Raise orders based on demand and forecasts

* Purchasing of materials and components

* Control of component availability

* Process paperwork and update systems for goods in and materials out

* Supporting internal and external stock takes

* Maintain delivery schedules and track deliveries to ensure deliveries are met

* Ensure all deliveries are cost efficient - negotiate and load up where possible

* Manage and develop departmental work ensuring a high standard of work is maintained

* Shipping documentation

* Reporting

* Process control

* Maintaining internal NCRs and follow up

Qualification and experience required

* Proven work experience or qualification as a Supply Chain Coordinator role

* Good understanding of supply chain procedures

* Good understanding of Transport coordination

* Working knowledge of inventory management software

* Active participation in inventory audits

* Excellent organisation and analytical skills

* Excellent knowledge of Excel

* Good communication, negotiation abilities and attention to detail
