An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Quality Manager. We would love to hear from you if you have previous experience within a telecom’s or utilities environment.

Role Profile:

Reporting to the QEHS Lead, the purpose of this role is to provide maximum effectiveness in supporting production to drive a right first time quality approach. A major of the role is providing clear information via meetings and presentations to their regions, suppliers and internal stakeholders to provide clear guidance down to granular detail to drive continual improvement plans that will provide maximum output and benefit in terms of right fist time quality of personal workmanship. The job holder will also provide leadership and manage a team of Quality Improvement Agents to support the field in driving improvement plans.

Typical Deliverables:

* Assist in delivering the Quality Plan across the contract, including all aspects relating to Quality Compliance, auditing and the implementation of new systems and processes.

* Audit and implementation of improvement tools including taking appropriate action following trend analysis of defects. In particular, review product quality procedures to ensure that there is adequate control of the quality elements and facilitate as necessary to progress and close out long term defects.

* Represent the business at client meetings.

* Provide reports and presentations for Regional internal meetings.

* Manage Field Quality Support Agents and plan their work schedules to align to the contract quality goals.

Skills:

* A good understanding of fibre networks.

* Have strong operational experience with experience in managing others.

* Understand quality frameworks with regards to telecoms and ISO 9001.

* Have an extensive knowledge of IT systems.
